Rangeland Restoration is necessary for millions
of acres of degraded range. Return of these degraded rangelands
to productive use is required for agricultural, wildlife
and watershed values. The content of this website provides
a scientific literature foundation for implementation of
a spectrum of possible rangeland restoration projects. Key
information provided on this site includes a rangeland restoration bibliography,
and links to sites that provide supporting content. Implementation
of cost effective, ecologically functional restoration projects
founded on the best available science is our collective goal.
Construction of this website was initiated in October 2002
with funding provided by the U.S. Forest Service and Bureau
of Land Management. Further development of this site is anticipated
as funding opportunities are identified.
